Louisiana indie-rock band

We are a five-piece indie rock band from Baton Rouge, formed in 2023. Our sound blends ukulele, electric guitars, soulful vocals, and groovy rhythms to create our original music. The lineup is fronted by Isabel "Issy" Mathes on vocals and ukulele, with DJ Barbier and Jason Hartley on lead guitars (Jason also on backing vocals), Jabaric Brown on drums, and Joshua Selser on bass. Our original songs are available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music, under the name Issy. We’ve performed at a variety of well-known venues across Baton Rouge and New Orleans, including Chelsea’s Live, The Varsity Theater, Gasa Gasa, and Carrollton Station, steadily building our reputation as a standout presence in the Louisiana music scene.
